Here is a rare piece for lovers of racing, innovative design and smoking.
This Player's Ltd Racing E-Glas sign by Wordenglass & Electricity is a real eye catcher, day or night. It measures 16"wide x 11"tall x 2"deep. It is in used but great condition. It does have a couple small spots where the top graphic has been damaged(pic 10) but is only noticeable if you're up close. Also has a few imperfections on the glass at the bottom(pic 9) doesn't affect anything, possibly from manufacture.
When plugged in it is vibrant and beautiful, now I know why, E-Glas. what a cool technology and piece of racing history.

Wordenglass & Electricity of Kalamazoo own the patent on E-Glas technology, 1992. It uses a special glass plate, as opposed to traditional neon tubing. The 1/2" plate is made with internal channels that are charged with the proper gasses. There are no light bulbs involved, it is bright like neon.

After 42 years as one of the biggest sponsors in indy racing, Player's Ltd. and all tobacco companies will no longer be able to sponsor the sport. On October 1, 2003 the federal government's Tobacco Control Act requires tobacco companies to cease any form of advertising or sponsorship activity
Player's involvement began in 1961 when it sponsored the Player's 200, the first international motorsport race in Canada, won by Stirling Moss in front of 40,000 fans at Mosport Park. It peaked in the 1990s when the company began sponsoring drivers and entered a team in what is now called the Champ Car series, providing racing opportunities for drivers who eventually became some of the biggest names in Canadian sports.

Overseas orders 1lb or 12" or under will automatically ship via Air Mail at 7 - 10 business days. Orders over these dimensions will ship via SEA MAIL which takes 6 - 12 weeks with orders usually arriving within 7 weeks. This method is slow but very economical and reliable despite the slow pace.

Overseas orders over 1lb or 12" can be upgraded to Air Mail service but this can be up to double the shipping cost. For most accurate rate, contact us.

Due to the nature of vintage items being used, we cannot guarantee that any item will be in perfect working condition. Oftentimes vintage items need a bit more creativity to operate than a brand new item and can have unique quirks like a stiff button, or wiggly latch. We do our best to thoroughly test and describe the condition of every item we sell.
Returns will be handled on a case by case basis, and partial refunds will not be given under any circumstances.

Returns must be shipped back at customer's expense and original purchase and shipping will be refunded after a case is opened with Canada Post.
