_____________________________________________________________________________________________Here is a Commodore typewriter branded for Simpson's department store. It appears to be a Consul Speedwriter.
Commodore Typewriters Ltd. was started by Jack Tramiel and Manfred Kapp in Toronto, Ontario 1958. They would import typewriters and sell them as Commodores.
It is in used condition. That said it looks like it saw little if any use. Very clean machine works smoothly and looks amazing. It has a couple tiny spots on the front right side(pic 9) and some spots on the rear carriage and bottom.
This is an amazing machine to add to any collection or to write steamy romance novels.
It is 13" x 11" x 6" and come with it's original case. The straps have some rips but are sturdy and weight bearing still. Even comes with original unbranded manual.
We will load it up with a fresh ribbon for you so you can get started right away.
Please let us know in the notes on checkout whether you'd like black, black/red, purple, or blue ribbon
