Here is a beautiful antique candy scale, made by Gurney & Ware, Hamilton, Ontario in the early 1900's.
It is a crow's foot style with three toes and is marked 8 Lbs.
It is in used condition.
The metal shows signs of age in spots but no major corrosion issues. The paint looks great for it's age, nice red with gold and black accents. There are some spots of wear, it looks like it could be cleaned up a bit if someone was so inclined. We thought it looked cool as is and did not try cleaning it at all.
It appears to have all the parts and has been tested with a 4oz. weight and it was spot on.
There are no major cracks or breaks in it structurally.
