This brass piece is a lantern made for use with whale oil, possibly from the turn of the century but could have been made up to the 1950s as a decorative piece.
Would have had a lid originally, but looks great even without it. You could even use it as a decorative watering can for your succulents
In excellent condition with only some minor sign of wear and the missing lid as mentioned
