This antique mirror was made long ago for Tilley's Shoe Store with the name of the shop etched in the corners. Made of wood with a handle on top for easy moving and sits at the perfect angle to admire one's footwear.
Measures 23.5 inches tall and has some wear to it as expected for a piece of this age and considering it was used in a retail setting for years before someone thought to keep it. The mirror is in fair condition, it has some fairly bad scratches in the front as pictured, and some of the silvering has begun to deteriorate creating the most lovely patina.
Mirror frame is solid but could use a new backing as it appears to have been water damaged at some point causing it to warp. I has been affixed with tape also some time ago but this could easily be removed and the backing replaced.
