Here is a beautiful drip oil painting of a ship from Van Gaard Studios, USA. It is signed Rio.
Van Gaard paintings were featured in television shows such as "I Dream of Jeannie" and "The Brady Bunch". Vanguard Studios, founded by Lee Reynolds Burr, with his brother Stuart to give average American families the chance to own a real oil painting. The paintings were sold through a network of Vanguard showrooms, furniture stores and interior decorators around the country throughout the late 60s and 70s.
It is in used condition.
The frame has a couple smaller chips and scuffs, the painting has one small scrape. Overall it looks amazing up on the wall and would be a welcome addition to any art collection.
