This vintage Yale mortise lock set is a functional piece of history from a time before the now standard bored cylindrical locks were invented. Yale was founded by Linus Yale Sr., who opened his first lock shop in Newport, New York, in 1840.
In working condition and comes with keys as shown. Lock works and key rotates smoothly to push the bolt out and a door knob will be needed to operate the spring latch. See our other listings for door knob options.
