Midcentury Modern TV Lamp

Midcentury Modern TV Lamp

Sorry, this item has sold.

This midcentury modern TV lamp was designed to sit atop your television set in order to cast a soft light which would counteract the effects of the negative rays emitting from the screen, or so it was believed at the time. We use blue light blocking technology now, so maybe mom was right and staring at the screen will make you go blind!

This lamp has a warm gold and and black theme with brass and fiber shade diffusing the light, and a shallow ceramic planter designed to look like black marble. This planter would have originally held little fake plants, but imagine how cute it would look with a tiny succulent garden instead.

In excellent condition with a couple small flaws. One is a tiny chip out of the planter as pictured, the other is that the fiber shade can sometimes slip down the brass holder as you can see in the photos. Once it is aligned correctly it stays that way unless jostled out of place. Original cord is in good condition.
