Beautiful midcentury hand carved alabaster container with hinged lid, made in Italy. It is in very good vintage condition with the only imperfection being a few chips around the inside of the lid that can be seen in the pictures. There is a bark relief on the exterior in a rich brown color with splashes of sage green. The original sticker is underneath saying "Genuine Alabaster Hand Carved In Italy" Great piece of functional vintage decor.
