1950s Gero Silver Plated Maggi Holder, Designed by Georg Nillson, Made in the Netherlands

Beautiful and rare 1950s piece made by Gero in the Netherlands. Made to hold and adorn a bottle of Maggi seasoning befitting a fancy dinner table. Designed by Danish Silversmith Georg Nillson bearing his mark GN on the bottom along with Gero, the maker, S for sterling silver and 90, Gero's quality mark indicating the 90g of silver used in the plating. The intricate design and craftsmanship depict a bird surrounded by foliage on 2 sides of the holder. In excellent condition with a beautiful patina.
