Antique Hand Painted Noritake Teacup and Saucer, Tree by the Lake with Dreamy Purple Sunset, 1920's - 1940s Made in Japan

Gorgeous antique hand painted Noritake teacup and saucer in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing but there is some very light wear to small spots of the paint, mostly the gold around the edging, pictured. There is a small manufacturing defect on the saucer, two small dimples. Featuring a romantic Noritake scene of a tree by a lake. Hand painted in a dreamy hues of autumn against splashes of purple in the sky, you can decide if its a sunrise or sunset! The teacup is stamped underneath Noritake Hand Painted Made in Japan with the mark M surrounded by a wreath for Morimura, the original namesake of the brand.
