1940s Dominion Corset Company Gothic Style Countertop Bra Display, 13 1/2"

This very cool vintage 1940s bust display is in great vintage condition. The body is a light plastic material with a pink backing and the word "Gothic" embossed on the front. This is a style of bra by the Quebec based company, Dominion Corset Company. Interestingly, this company faced backlash in 1949 for their "provocative" ads of women wearing their products at a post-war era when moral liberation was a point of contention. This bust stands steady on a metal base that it is screwed on to. The display is in great vintage condition with some mild chipping on the painted surface. "Neelak Products - Montreal" is engraved on the bottom of the base. Display your bras in style or decorate with this vintage bullet bra era bust!
