This vintage toy sewing machine is marked as having been made in the British Zone of Germany which dates it to the very late forties or very early fifties.
In good collectible condition but not particularly useable as there is some rust on the moving parts impeding proper movement. The hand wheel still turns and the needle goes up and down in synch with the fabric moving foot, but it may not make proper stitches without a bit of TLC.
There is the remnant of a needle installed but most of it has been broken off as pictured. Various rust spots on the chrome surface as well as some corrosion coming through the red paint. Decal is in good condition and wood handle on the hand wheel is still complete. Has all the parts of a real working sewing machine and creates a simple chain stitch using only one spool of thread. Machine is currently untested.
