This unique little picture frame was made in England by Reprah in the 1930s
Made with a clever design where a piece of spring steel holds the wooden back of the frame in place. Directions stamped right in to the wood state Press Down which is to say slide the wood downward in to the frame to create room for the wood backing to be lifted out. A bit of a challenge to figure out, but once understood, is truly a brilliant design! Still has it's original sticker from the manufacturer on the inside of the wood backing.
Frame measures 5" x 3.5" overall and the space for the photo measures just over 4" x 2 3/4"
