Late 1950s-1960s North Star collectible beer can. From Jacob Schmidt Brewing Co., Minnesota, USA. North Star was originally founded in 1855, and was one of the earliest breweries in St. Paul, Minnesota. Jacob Schmidt eventually purchased a half interest in the brewery in 1884. The Jacob Schmidt Brewing Company operated until 1972. Later versions of North Star Beer were produced by the Cold Spring Brewing Company in Minnesota during the 1970s. This can indicates it was brewed by Jacob Schmidt Brewing Co., meaning it is from prior to 1972.
Can is 12 fl. oz., flat top, pull-tab style. In good condition, some small marks, see photos for condition.
