Vintage Municipal District of Brazeau No.77 metal enamel pin. Design is the official crest for the district, before its name change to Brazeau County in 2002. The region is home to the Brazeau Reservoir, which includes Alberta's largest hydroelectric plant. The name "Brazeau" honors Joseph Brazeau, a linguist who served with the Palliser Expedition, an early survey of Western Canada.
