Vintage District of Hudson's Hope British Columbia metal enamel souvenir pin. Design is the district's mascot Dudley the Dinosaur. The region is world-renowned for its extensive collection of dinosaur footprints and fossils. One particularly significant find is the Six Peaks Dinosaur Track Site, which contains nearly 1,200 tracks from at least 12 different dinosaur species. Hudson's Hope is one of the few places with a dinosaur species named after it—the Hudsonelpidia, a large marine reptile (ichthyosaur) discovered there in the 1960s.
