Vintage Princeton British Columbia metal enamel souvenir pin. Design is mascot Peter Pine, representing the region's deep roots in the forestry and timber industry. His character includes a whimsical "backstory" that reflects the local ecology: Peter's father was a pine tree and his mother was a fir/spruce tree, and he is said to carry his father's name while physically resembling his mother. Over the years, Peter has become a beloved local figure, appearing in parades and even becoming a lighthearted "kidnapping" target for graduating high school classes. Pin is in good condition, see photos for condition.
Pin is 2.5 x 2.2 cm
