Vintage Jugoton mascot lapel/stick pin. Jugoton was located in Zagreb, Croatia, and was formerly the largest record label in Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia was a Balkan country that existed from 1918 to 1992, uniting South Slavic peoples under two main iterations: the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918–1941) and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992). Founded on the vision of unity after World War I, it was a diverse nation spanning Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. When Yugoslavia dissolved, Jugoton was renamed Croatia Records in 1991.
