Vintage lapel/stick pin for the Home of United League of Anti-Fascist Youth of Yugoslavia (Ujedinjeni savez antifašističke omladine Jugoslavije). The United League of Antifascist Youth of Yugoslavia, (known as USAOJ) was a prominent WWII partisan youth organization founded in 1942. This is a commemorative pin, for the cultural and memorial complex in the city center of Bihać, which was built to recognize the Anti-Fascist youth during WWII. Yugoslavia was a Balkan country that existed from 1918 to 1992, uniting South Slavic peoples under two main iterations: the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918–1941) and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992). Founded on the vision of unity after World War I, it was a diverse nation spanning Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
