Vintage Auto Presvlake Vuteks Yugoslavian/Croatian lapel/stick pin. Auto Presvlake were custom, woolen car seat covers manufactured by the former Yugoslav textile giant, Vuteks, based in Vukovar, Croatia. They were highly popular accessories used to add comfort and protect the original vinyl or cloth seats in classic Yugoslav vehicles like the Zastava 101.
Yugoslavia was a Balkan country that existed from 1918 to 1992, uniting South Slavic peoples under two main iterations: the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918–1941) and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992). Founded on the vision of unity after World War I, it was a diverse nation spanning Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
