Vintage Roofing Tradesperson/Construction (Krovopokrivč) 30 year anniversary lapel/stick pin from former Yugoslavia. The phrase on the bottom "30 GOD" is an abbreviation for "30 godina," which translates to 30 years. This pin would have been awarded to a worker to celebrate a 30-year career milestone. In socialist industrial iconography, the red and black colour was commonly used, and represented the working-class labor movement, heavy industry, and structural engineering trades. Yugoslavia was a Balkan country that existed from 1918 to 1992, uniting South Slavic peoples under two main iterations: the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918–1941) and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992). Founded on the vision of unity after World War I, it was a diverse nation spanning Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
