Vintage Hemofarm pharmaceutical company lapel/stick pin. Hemofarm was founded in 1960 in Vršac, Serbia (former Yugoslavia). It is one of the largest domestic producers and exporters of medicines in Serbia. The design of this pin indicates that it was made for the 10 year anniversary of the company in 1970.
Yugoslavia was a Balkan country that existed from 1918 to 1992, uniting South Slavic peoples under two main iterations: the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (1918–1941) and the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (1945–1992). Founded on the vision of unity after World War I, it was a diverse nation spanning Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
The pin is in good, vintage condition, some signs of age, the stick is a little bent. See photos for condition.
