This strange piece is a sanded and polished piece of burled wood which while strange looking from the outside, contains a unique swirled ring pattern that is coveted by woodworkers. Larger pieces can be cut to produce tables, counter-tops, bowls, veneers, artwork, wood watches, and even guitars! Various slabs of lumber can be milled, and made into furniture, or custom woodworking projects.
One large slab can make a magnificent table, or fireplace lintel. A small one like this can be put on a lathe and turned, creating a bowl or vase of unique beauty. or used to create jewellery or other small but beautiful items.
