This beautiful butterscotch yellow vanity set was made sometime in the 1920's to 1930's from a revolutionary material at the time, celluloid. This original form of plastic made the creation of consumer goods easier and cheaper, allowing more people to to afford items they could only dream of before.
This vanity set is only partially complete but comes with natural bristle hair brush, makeup jar, nail buffer with original rawhide buffing pad, and shoe horn.
Most pieces are in good condition but the makeup jar has one large crack and some smaller ones as pictured.
